The Democratic Women’s Association of Lampasas invites the public to help celebrate the 10th annual Labor Day picnic at the Hancock Park Golf Course pavilion.

Kurt Kuhn, candidate for the Third Court of Appeals, will speak along with representatives for Bill White, gubernatorial candidate; Barbara Ann Radnosky, candidate for attorney general; and Jeff Weems, candidate for railroad commissioner.

Brent Henderson, candidate for Precinct 4 Lampasas County commissioner, also will speak.

The picnic begins at 11:30 a.m. with an auction of cakes by auctioneer Charley Fields.

Hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings will be served after the auction.
