New Covenant Church will dedicate new classrooms and a narthex during its worship service Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. An open house will be from 1-3 p.m. the same day.

The public is invited.

“We’re proud of it, and we’re proud of the expertise of local construction people who built it,” Pastor Darrell Feemster said of the 13,000-square-foot addition to the church.

Ronny Muse was general contractor, and he used local subcontractors on the $1 million project, Feemster said.

As part of the effort, Heritage Day Care, with an enrollment of 39 children, now occupies part of the addition.
