Interment for Selestino Sapien will take place Aug. 28, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with chaplain Albet Lopez officiating.

Mr. Sapien died Aug. 4 in Lampasas at the age of 68.

He was born May 19, 1942 in Lampasas to Gumezindo and Manuela (Longoria) Sapien. He spent most of his life as a painter in the construction field.

Mr. Sapien’s survivors include his daughter, Lydia Sapien of Lampasas; brothers, Ines Sapien of Richardson, Joe Sapien of Lampasas and Daniel Sapien of Dallas; sisters, Adela Sapien of Lampasas and Frances Arzula of Vancouver, Wash.; and grandsons, Richard Castaneda, Effrin Celestino Villa, Areli Rene Villa and Michael Ferrer Suarez Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Tony.
