Mrs. Broom
Pauline Esther Broom, 87, of Lampasas died Aug. 22, 2010, at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 26 at Rock Church Cemetery near Rumley with Dr. Rick Willis to officiate.
Mrs. Broom was born March 23, 1923, in Fort Worth, the daughter of Paul Hall Lindsley and Mamie Wicker Lindsley.
She was a secretary for many years in the Fort Worth area before moving to Lampasas 20 years ago. Mrs. Broom was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas, where she was part of the Dorcas Sunday School class.
Her survivors include four sons, John Harper and wife Pilar of Dallas, Charles Broom and wife Deborah of Weatherford, Robert Broom and wife Sue of Rumley, and Bill Broom and Diane of Granbury; seven grandchildren, Marsha French, Jana Blake, John Broom, Wade Broom, Tyler Broom, Melissa and Suzanne; and 12 great-garndchildren.
Mrs. Broom was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Broom, and by a grandson, Mark Allen Broom.
