Mrs. Edell Sylvester Wade, 95, of Lampasas died Aug. 14, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral services were Aug. 16 at First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Wade was born on March 30, 1915 in Travis County, Texas, to Albert Henry and Emma Maul Sylvester.

She married Charles Otto Wade on Nov. 14, 1936, and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Mrs. Wade was a homemaker and a member of First Street Church of Christ. She had been a resident of the area for many years and resided on the same property for 72 years.

Survivors include seven children, and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren. One brother and one sister also survive.
