Band Parents will host a “Meet and Greet” Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lampasas High School band hall for the parents of 2010-11 Badger band members. The organization and its purpose, as well as upcoming band activities, will be discussed.

Anyone interested in ordering a Band Parent shirt or rain jacket may do so at this meeting.

Sign-up lists for volunteers also will be available. Parental support is crucial for another successful band season, said a Band Parents spokesman.
