Mrs. Freeman
Alice Louise Freeman of Kempner died July 30, 2010, in Temple. She was 72.
A private family memorial service was Aug. 2 in Lampasas.
Mrs. Freeman was born April 3, 1938, in Abilene, Kan., the daughter of Albert and Nellie Belle White Greenwood.
She was a homemaker and a three-year member of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include her husband, William L. Freeman Jr. of Kempner; three daughters, Audrey Louise McCarthy and husband, David, and Phyllis Lynn Shearrow and husband, Kenneth, all of Kempner, and Dorinda Lizette Clark of Waxahachie; one son, Jon Leslie Freeman of Kempner; one sister, Alberta Zurmely of Chapman, Kan.; a brother, Charles Greenwood of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn and Wilma.
The family requested memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
