Willie DeWeese, 66, died Aug. 2, 2010, at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.

Services are Aug. 6 at 10 a.m. at Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba with the Rev. Bob McClinton officiating. Burial will be at San Saba Cemetery.

Mr. DeWeese was born March 17, 1944, in San Saba, the son of Chester Robert and Nettie Gatliff DeWeese.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include two sisters and their husbands, Janet and Bill Sanguinet of Lampasas, and Sandra and David Rasberry of Anchorage, Alaska; three nieces; two nephews; seven great-nieces; seven greatnephews; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by niece.
