Editor’s note: The following was sent to the city of Lampasas staff, who requested the letter be reprinted for local readers.

To the staff of Lampasas Cemetery Association:

My husband and I were in Lampasas this past weekend and made a visit to our family graves. I was so pleased to see how well-kept the cemetery is now. We drove all about the old part as well as the new part, and I am so glad to see the changes you all have made in the last few years.

Many people are unable to come often to the place where their loved ones are buried and where they will be buried also. I am sure it is a big job to check and keep track of all the jobs that need to be done.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do.
