A golf tournament benefiting the LHS golf program will be held at Delaware Springs Golf Course Aug. 8 at 1 p.m.

Entry fee for the two-person shamble-style event, a combination of scramble and stroke play, is $50 per person and includes cart, green fees and dinner.

Hole sponsorships are $100.

FOOTBALL

The Badgers’ football coaching staff and their wives will be sponsoring Football 102 -- a football-related seminar exclusively for women -- August 2 at 6:30 p.m. inside the LHS cafeteria.

Tickets are $15 and are available at the Lampasas Dispatch Record office, Cattles Pharmacy and Badger Tracks or from Vickie McQueen (512-921-2471).
