Connie Hensler, 79, of Kempner died July 1, 2010, at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.

Graveside services were July 5 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with the Rev. Tim Ochsner officiating.

Mrs. Hensler was born April 29, 1931, in El Paso, the daughter of Juan and Julia Ostos Neria.

She was a homemaker and had been a resident of the area for 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, O.L. Hensler of Lampasas; two daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Roy Brooks of Rumley, and Sally and David Yancy of Kempner; one sister, Ernestina Ontiveros of California; two brothers, Armando Neria and Frank Neria, both of El Paso; and one granddaughter, Brandyl Julia Brooks.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Delia Almanza and Cecilia Moya, and two brothers, Arturo Neria and Freddy Neria.
