The Badgers’ 7 on 7 team had a rough outing in Marble Falls Tuesday where it lost all three of its contests.

After posting a 2-1 record in its first week at the Marble Falls Summer Passing League, Lampasas could not repeat the feat as it gave up at least 30 points in each game.

The host Mustangs defeated the Badgers 30-24 to open the evening’s action before Burnet handed Lampasas its most lopsided loss by producing a 19-point margin of victory, 32-13.

In their final contest, the Badgers bounced back offensively, but were outscored by 14 points in a 38-24 loss to Llano.

On Tuesday all four of the participating teams will play for seeding in the league’s seasonending tournament set for June 29.

Before competing for the passing league championship, however, the Badgers will take a second crack at qualifying for the state 7 on 7 tournament when they travel to Brownwood on June 26 for a qualifying tournament.

Lampasas lost all three of their games at the Gatesville state qualifying tournament in late May.

The state tournament will be held July 8-9 at Texas A&M University.
