Graveside services for Edgar Lee Jackson, 70, of Lampasas were June 10, 2010, at Lometa City Cemetery in Lometa.

Mr. Jackson died June 7 at his residence.

He was born April 1, 1940, in Brady, the son of Edgar Roy and Annie Lee Williams Jackson.

Mr. Jackson was a lawn care specialist and a member of Family of Faith Worship Center in Lometa.

He married Brenda Sue Gaddy on Sept. 8, 1990. He has been a Lampasas resident since 1980.

Survivors include his wife of Lampasas; two sisters, Birdie Powell and husband, Melvin, and Shirley Powell, all of Brownwood; three brothers, Alvin Jackson and wife, Katherine, and Larry Jackson and wife, Debbie, all of Lampasas, and Donald Jackson and wife, Sharon, of Brownwood; a sister-inlaw, Dorothy Lindsey and husband, Preston, of Lampasas; and his mother-in-law, Mary Gaddy of Lampasas.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
