The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association will host a ranch gathering Tuesday at the Crawford Community Center, 999 E. Fourth St. in Crawford. Events begin at 5:30 p.m. with registration, followed by a free barbecue dinner and presentations.

“TSCRA ranch gatherings are a great way for folks in the community to get together, and it’s not just for TSCRA members. Anyone who would like to come out and enjoy the evening is invited,” TSCRA President Dave Scott said.

TSCRA Special Ranger Marvin Wills will talk about ways to protect property and livestock from theft.

Other topics include preventing property theft in difficult economic times, fly control and strategic de-worming.
