Funeral services for Mary Hunter, 83, of Copperas Cove are June 4, 2010, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Kempner with the Rev. Don Casper officiating. Burial will be at Kempner City Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunter died June 1.

She was born May 26, 1927, in Aberdeen, Miss., and spent much of her life working in retail sales. She was a member of Kempner First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Hunter of Copperas Cove; a son, Larry Hunter of Copperas Cove; one sister, Lela Smith of Brookhaven, Miss.; three grandchildren, Paula Ford, Mary Hunter and Billy Hunter; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Hunter, and by four siblings.
