The San Saba County Friends of NRA will hold a banquet Friday at 6 p.m. at the San Saba Civic Center. Tickets are on sale at Arrowhead Bank, Hamrick’s, Cherokee Grocery or by calling (325) 372- 6425.

Friends of NRA is a key grassroots group that supports thousands of community service events related to firearm education, hunter safety, wildlife conservation, range improvements, youth marksmanship, law enforcement and others.

The banquet will feature a barbecue meal, raffles and live and silent auctions with items to include firearms and accessories, art and more.

Half of the profits raised at the banquet will be spent in Texas, while the other half supports qualifying national-level educational programs and safety services.

Established in 1990, the NRA Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization that raises taxdeductible contributions in support of a wide range of firearm-related public interest activities of the National Rifle Association of America and other organizations that foster Second Amendment rights.
