Albert Garza Jr., 73, of Lampasas died May 26, 2010, in Lampasas.

Mass will be celebrated May 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

Mr. Garza was born June 13, 1936, in Wharton, the son of Albert and Paula Rodriquez Garza Sr.

He spent most of his life in agriculture.

Mr. Garza enjoyed the outdoors, including camping and fishing, and sports.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Garza of Colorado; daughters, Yolanda Martinez, Ester Liz Garza and Cecilia Garza; sons, Rudy Garza, Robert Garza, Ruben Garza, Ross Garza and Albert Garza II; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
