Mr. Slusser
Jim Slusser, 81, of Burnet died May 20, 2010.
Graveside services were May 22 at Nix Cemetery in Lampasas with the Rev. Bobby Isbell officiating.
Mr. Slusser was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Wakarusa, Kan., to David and Maude Phillips Slusser.
He retired from the power plant at the University of Texas.
His hobbies included visiting flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores, and road trips.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Wright-Slusser of Burnet; two daughters and their husbands, Sharon and George Patrick of Austin, and Sandy and Rick Grimes of Wimberley; one son, Shanon Slusser of Del Valle; 10 grandchildren, Ross, Stacy, Jacob, Sarah, Christine, Christopher, Serena, Samantha, Ethan and Bud; and a great-grandson, Lex Dylan.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Charles and John; by a son, Michael; and a sonin law, Joe.
