FOOTBALL

The Badger Quarterback Club will have a meeting Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Lampasas High School lecture room.

All members, prospective members and Badger football fans are encouraged to attend.

Points of discussion will include the football program, memberships and other preparations for the upcoming season.

BASKETBALL

There will be a meet and greet event to introduce the new Badgers head baseketball coach Rob Shivers at the Lampasas High School library Thursday at 3:45 p m.

School board members, adminstrators, faculty, players, parents, Slam Dunk Club members and officers are all invited to attend.

FUN RUN

The Pink Glove Fighters of Central Texas Fun Run is scheduled for May 29 at the Lampasas Middle School track.

Check-in begins at 8 a m. for all races (100 meter, 200 meter, one mile, two mile and scenic fun run/walk). Entry cost is $15 for one event and $5 for each additional event. The entry fee includes a T-shirt.

All proceeds go toward cancer research, and awards will be given to the top three finishers in each event, as well as the top three fund-raisers.

Deadline to register and guarantee shirt size is Thursday.
