Lake Victor resident Scottie Dale Lester, 55, died April 20, 2010.

Funeral services are April 25 at 2 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home of Marble Falls with Minister Rocky Moncus officiating. Burial will be at Fairland Cemetery.

Mr. Lester was born May 18, 1954, in Austin, the son of Walter Olive and Nira Nora (Bess) Lester.

He retired as a stone setter from Cold Spring Granite after 25 years of service.

Mr. Lester had numerous skills, including engineering and designing, which enabled him to design many different tools and equipment. He also designed the blueprints and built his home from the ground up.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene of Lake Victor; a son, Walter Lester of Lake Victor; brothers and sister-in-law, David and Brendita Lester of Marble Falls, and Rhonnie and Paula Lester of Devine; a nephew; and other relatives.

Visitation is April 24 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
