‘Repeal and replace’ health care law

We hear Republicans saying they want to “repeal and replace” the new health care law that, like Medicare, gives Americans health care for themselves and their families. The truth is Republicans will not be able to repeal the law because they must get 125 more seats in the Congress to override a presidential veto. This is not going to happen, and they know it.

What they are really after is to get people to send them money. The only “repeal and replace” the foolish people who send them money are going to see is Republican politicians “peel” the money out of people’s wallets and “place” it in theirs.

By the way, Republican senators are now withholding unemployment funds from those who lost their jobs due to the Republican financial collapse of our economy. Do Republicans actually believe we have forgotten how poorly they governed this nation and the horrible thing they did to our economy?
