No services are planned for Robert Gene Wood, 79, of Lampasas.

He died April 8, 2010, at Lampasas Nursing & Rehab.

He was born Feb. 15, 1931, in Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Wood married Marcella Navarro in San Antonio.

He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1969 where he was a communications tech for GEEA.

He is survived by his wife of Lampasas, and his mother, Olga Gilmore of Sugar Creek, Mo.
