Bloomin’ Fest planned

The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce and Courtyard Square Association will combine their efforts to present one of the community’s most highly attended festivals in the downtown area.

The ninth annual Bloomin’ Fest is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the courthouse square.

The event will offer arts and crafts vendors, plant vendors, food concessions and children’s activities.

Gardening vendors will be on hand to answer questions about spring- time planting and gardening.

Entertainment on the bandstand will be offered, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

From 9:30-10 a.m., J.J. Medina will perform, followed by First Street Church of Christ’s Hims of Praise from 10-11 a.m.

Allison Hendrix will entertain from 11-11:30 a.m., and Jordan Cummings will be on stage from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Hanna Springs Elementary School choir will perform from noon to 1 p.m., and Cheyenne Maples will sing from 1-1:30 p.m.

From 1:30-2 p.m., the duo of Joshua Smith and Riana Bass will entertain.

Ellis Girls and Kelsey Buchanan will take to the stage next for performances from 2-2:30 p.m.

Megan Blair will sing from 2:30-3 p.m., and One Less Stone with Clay Tyner will close out the performances from 3-4 p.m.
