Rhonda Elaine Queen Shubert, 42, died March 14, 2010, at her home in Dublin.

Funeral services were March 17 at First Baptist Church in Dublin with Ronnie Harton officiating. Burial was at Liveoak Cemetery in Dublin.

Mrs. Shubert was born Jan. 15, 1968, in Lampasas, the daughter of Billy Monroe and Juanita Elaine Dufner Queen.

She married Lewis David Shubert on Aug. 19, 1994, in San Antonio.

A 1986 graduate of Lampasas High School, Mrs. Shubert earned a degree from Tarleton State University. She was a fourth-grade teacher in the Dublin school district for 16 years.

Survivors include her husband of Dublin; a son, Jacob David, of Dublin; a foster son, Clinton Williams of Dekalb; her parents of Cross Plains; two sisters, Brenda Queen of Killeen and Regina Queen of Dublin; grandmothers, Ola Queen and Opal Dufner of Lampasas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
