Joyce Smith, sister of Lampasas Middle School teacher Vickie McQueen and a former Lampasas resident, will address middle school social studies classes Friday from 8:05 a.m.-3:25 p.m.

Ms. Smith lived here in the 1980s and served on the Spring Ho Committee.

In her presentation to students, Ms. Smith will discuss her travels throughout the world. During 40 minutes of class time, she will cover 40 countries she has visited.

Other members of the community who wish to listen to her presentation are asked to check in at the school office first. Ms. Smith’s program will be in the middle school library.
