Adamsville Heritage group leases school

has acquired a lease on the Adamsville School building from the Adamsville Community Center.

Helping with clean-up efforts are David Fitzgerald, Ruth Krivokucha, Mary Fitzgerald, Charlotte Seale and Pat Moore. Last Wednesday, a group of association members began clean-up of the old school. Pat Moore, heritage association president, said clean-up and restoration will be ongoing efforts and will continue each Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.

Anyone who would like to help or who is interested in seeing the school and prospective plans is asked to contact Mrs. Moore at 768- 3355.

Donations are being accepted to defray restoration costs and may be made by contacting Charlotte Seale, association treasurer, at 768- 3330.

The second quarterly meeting of AHA will be held at the old school building on April 12 at 6:30 p.m. Anyone interested is invited to attend.

In other association news, the group is sponsoring an amateur art show and exhibit on April 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the community center.
