In recent 27th District Court action, Efrin Celestian Villa, 22, received two 20-year sentences to run concurrently in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division for two counts of burglary of a habitation.

In other court action, Brenda Hilliard Ballard, 50, of Killeen was given two two-year sentences in state jail for forgery of a financial instrument and securing/executing of a document by deception. The sentences will run concurrently.

For driving while intoxicated and felony repetition, Lampasas resident Rodney Joel Key, 52, was assessed three years’ confinement in the TDCJID. He was credited with jail time served.

Joshua Shawn Davis, 24, received three years’ deferred adjudication probation for possession of a controlled substance under one gram. He also was given a $1,000 fine and must pay $140 in restitution.

Three years’ deferred adjudication probation and a $1,000 fine were given to 22-year-old Joseph Franklin Middleton for possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

An arrest warrant was issued, and bond was increased to $10,000 for Paul Dalton Stewart Jr., 41, of Leander when he failed to show up for court on a charge of possession/ transport a chemical with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.

A revocation hearing is today for Kempner resident Audi Elizabeth Henry, 30, for evading arrest with a vehicle.

A pretrial hearing is March 26 for Craig Edward Scott, 22, of Kempner on a charge of arson.

For hindering a secured creditor, 26-year-old Jason Dwayne Lamb of Pflugerville is set for an April 9 hearing.

Pretrial hearings are scheduled April 9 for Marshall Lester Wethy, 50, of Kempner for deadly conduct discharging a firearm in a habitation/ building/vehicle, and for Travis Ray Turley, 37, of Dublin, charged with theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.

For fraudulent application for a Texas certificate of title, Arnold Eugene Marsh, 37, is set for a review on May 14.

Ashley Tijernia had her bond reduced to $5,000 on a charge of burglary of a building.

For theft over $1,500 and under $20,000, 35-year-old Priscilla Rocha Houston had her bond lowered to $1,000. She faces a May 14 pretrial hearing.

May 24 jury trials are set for Jimmy Allen Beall, 38, for possession/ transport of a chemical with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, and Ronnie Dale Parker, 47, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., for criminal nonsupport.

June 28 jury trials are on the docket for Antonio Garcia Jr., 34, of Muleshoe for possession of a controlled substance under one gram, and Alejandro Barboza Suchil, 31, for burglary of a habitation.
