Betty Ann Fontaine, 64, of Lampasas died March 16, 2010, at Northwood Healthcare Center in Marble Falls.

Funeral services are March 20 at 11 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Minister Reid Schaub officiating. Burial will be at Hines Chapel Cemetery near Adamsville.

Visitation is March 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Fontaine was born Nov. 7, 1945, in Vernon, the daughter of Walter and Ann Merrifield Carter.

She married Keith Fontaine on April 8, 1989, in New Zealand.

Mrs. Fontaine was a troubleshooter for Harden Health Care. She enjoyed painting and camping.

She was very active in Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, and was active in Lampasas County Republican Party matters. She was a member of Community Church.

Survivors include her husband of Adamsville; three sons, Ray Nunn of Burleson, Paul Nunn of Houston, and Ted Nunn of Gainesville; grandchildren, Cierra Hathaway and Sam, Anthony Nunn, Matthew Nunn, Savana Nunn, P.J. Nunn and Emily Nunn; and a daughter-in-law, Christine Bennefield of Burnet.

She was preceded in death by a brother, JD Carter; by two sisters, Nona Foster and Laverne Pettigrew; and by a daughter-inlaw, Rachel Gonzales.

Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
