Vet attends conference

Dr. Trampus Isom, DVM, attended the Veterinary Opportunities with Farmed Deer Conference at the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biological Sciences, Texas A&M University, College Station, Feb. 26-28.
Isom participated in lectures presented by specialists in the field of farmed deer and cervid medicine coupled with practical laboratory demonstrations.
Topics provided instruction and current practices in regulatory agencies/requirements, herd health management, major health issues/ treatments, restraint, surgery and anesthesia, reproduction and artificial insemination, as well as deer nutrition.
