Nancy Gray has several pieces of art on exhibit in a New York City gallery through March. Work from Lampasas artist Nancy Gray will be on exhibit at the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery on West 25th Street in Chelsea, New York City through March 30.

To celebrate the exhibit’s opening, the gallery held a gala and champagne opening reception.

Ms. Gray’s work is part of the “Serenade to the Stars: Star-filled Synchronicities, Stardust Illuminations, Starlite Incantations” exhibition.

Her oil “Bright Morning” is one of the paintings in the Starlite Incantations section, which, according to Ruthie Tucker, the gallery’s executive director/curator, “Highlights three innovative artists who express intriguing emotions by depicting physical or psychological landscapes, each with individual master of composition and creativity, resulting in powerful and striking visual masterpieces.”

Tucker said Ms. Gray’s dazzling landscapes are infused with natural light and “the brilliant colors of the outdoors, providing a testament to the artist’s lyrical and romantic view of the resplendence of nature by transcending the beauty of na- ture, and offering a majestic perspective and new insight to the splendors of the earth.”

Ms. Gray also is showing “Tree by the House” and “Upper Waterfall on the King Branch.”
