Mary Tittle was selected March Artist of the Month by the Lampasas Art Club. Mary Tittle, a longtime member of the Lampasas Art Club, is the March Artist of the Month. Her work is on display at the gallery at My Girls.

The Lampasas native has been painting for about 12 years. She studied with Dollie Barbour, and credits her mother, Jewell Tittle, with inspiring her to begin painting. Like her mother, Mary Tittle enjoys painting scenes from various locations she has visited and photographed.

Oil is her favorite medium while using a brush and a pallet knife.

Ms.Tittle is also an accomplished artist in cross-stitch, needlepoint and knitting.

She is a member of the Chancel Choir and Joy Ringers at First United Methodist Church where she served as organist and then as music director for a number of years.

The gallery is open from Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Phone 556-9755 for more information.
