Stacy Allen Kirk of Burnet County died March 6, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident on U.S. Highway 281 South. He was 38.

Funeral services were March 11 at First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas with Minister Rocky Moncus officiating. Burial was at Dobyville Cemetery in Burnet County.

Mr. Kirk was born Sept. 3, 1971, in Lakeland, Fla., to Winfred Chester and Ellen Barclay Greaves Kirk.

He married Carrie Bowden on June 14, 1997.

Mr. Kirk was employed in the construction field doing drywall and finish work. He was a member of First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas where he sang with Hims of Praise.

Survivors include his wife of Burnet County; a son, Thomas Kirk of Burnet County; two daughters, Hannah Kirk and Emma Kirk, both of Burnet County; his mother of Lubbock; and two brothers, Daryl A. Kirk of Georgetown, and Jay Kirk of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father.
