Funeral services for Leemon L. Foster, 68, of Adamsville are March 13, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church with Marcus Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Putnam Cemetery near Baird.

Visitation is March 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.

Mr. Foster died March 9 at his residence.

He was born May 26, 1941, in Callahan County, the son of George and Anna Bell Wilkerson Foster.

Mr. Foster married Joy Reed on Sept. 16, 1979. He was a government trapper for 30 years.

He was a rancher and a member of Adamsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of Adamsville; three daughters and their husbands, Marcus and Beth Foster of Adamsville, and Sheryl and Glenn Goforth and Joyce and Alan Roberts, all of Granbury; grandchildren, Leanna and Brooklyn Foster, Zachary Foster, Anthony Van Winkle and Michael Long; a great-granddaughter, Kaylee Van Winkle; a sister, Lillie Day and husband, Jerry, of Helotes; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Alan Foster and Douglas Foster; by sisters, Vivian Foster and Loraine Foster; and by a son, Dwane Foster.
