Western Swing Showcase set at Bell County Expo

The 14th annual Texas Western Swing Showcase is Saturday at the at the Bell County Expo.

The public is invited to dance and dine among the company of Grammy Award winners, Hall of Fame musicians, world champion fiddlers and recording artists.

Music starts at noon with an all-star show of Western Swing giants including Randy Elmore, Dave Alexander, Bobby Flores, Ricky Turpin and Wes Westmoreland.

The Texas Western Swing Heritage Assoc. of Bell County, a non-profit organization, will host the event that promotes “Texasborn” music.

Bobby Flores and the Yellow Rose Band will play for the dance from 8 p.m. to midnight. An autographed fiddle will be given away at midnight. Tickets are $15 and are available at the door.

Admission to the afternoon entertainment is $15, and tickets may be purchased at the door.

No dinner tickets will be sold at the door.
