Jan Witten Sewall donated a painting to benefit the Lampasas Art Gallery. The Lampasas Art Club is sponsoring a fund-raiser for a painting, “Break Time,” by Jan Witten Sewall. Proceeds will benefit Lampasas Art Gallery on East Third Street.

The 24x20-inch framed and matted watercolor is on display at the gallery with other works by the artist.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

Ms. Sewall is a local artist and member of the Lampasas Art Club. Her works have been in exhibitions from New York to Los Angeles, and she has won numerous awards.

She is a Signature (selected) Member of the National Watercolor Society, Southwestern Watercolor Society and Texas Watercolor Society, and past president of the Capitol Art Society and Waterloo Watercolor Group, both of Austin.

Ms. Sewall attended graduate school, art school and studied with more than 30 nationally noted artists.
