The 40th annual Lometa Diamdback Jubilee will be March 24 at Lometa Regional Park. A variety of events are on tap including a carnival, arts and crafts booths, food concessions and a lot of snakes.

The annual barbecue cookoff, now state-sanctioned by the International Barbeque Cookers Association, is always a festival highlight.
