Funeral services for B.R. “Jr.” Leach, 77, were March 4, 2010, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood with Dayton Leach and Dave Fair officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Point Cemetery.

Mr. Leach died Feb. 28.

He was born Oct. 2, 1932, in San Saba County, to Ben and Rodie Leach.

Mr. Leach attended school in Holt and moved to Brownwood in 1953.

He married Naomi F. Gober on July 3, 1956.

Mr. Leach was a truck driver and did landscaping.

Survivors include his wife; children, Sharron Humbert and husband, Jay, of Waco, Glenn Leach and wife, Sharon, Glenda Sherfield and husband, Randy, and Dayton Leach and wife, Robin, all of Brownwood, and Lyndon Leach and wife, Gloria, of Bangs; 11 grandchildren, Jeffery Tucker, Justin Tucker, Taylor Tucker and Jennifer Hunt, all of Waco, Amanda Snow of Early, Brandon Shane McCarthy of Tolar, and Aimee Egger, Cody Leach, Joe Leach, Crystal Leach and Kyna Leach, all of Brownwood; and three greatgrandchildren, Kailey Snow and Braxton Snow of Early, and Hannah McCarthy of Tolar.

Other survivors include three sisters, Gussy Watkins of Big Springs and Ruth Lowe and Carolyn Morgaridge, both of Lampasas; two brothers, Gary Neil Leach of Lufkin, and Jimmy Steve Leach of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ben Leach and Clifford Leach, and two sisters, Dee Lusty and Willee Kelly.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Walker Cancer Center at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
