Quilt show slated this weekend
The annual Lampasas Needle Art & Quilt Show’s “Stitches in Time” will be Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Lampasas County Courthouse.
Admission, good for both days, is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Funds raised benefit Keystone Square Museum.
Events include exhibits of craft items, demonstrations, vendors, raffles, a People’s Choice award and more.
In addition, Suzanne Labry will bring her large apron collection for “Stitchin’ in the Kitchen,” an exhibit at the museum.
Three raffle items will be offered: a quilt top, an afghan in the pattern “Wedding Wreaths,” and a cross-stitch wall-hanging.
Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Drawings will be held near the conclusion of the show Saturday.
A bake sale also will be held at the museum during quilt show times.
