Mr. Frost

Frederick Charles Frost, 79, of Lampasas died Feb. 25, 2010, at his residence.

Funeral services are March 2 at 4 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Ralph McCulloch officiating. The body will be cremated and the ashes buried at Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Pa.

Mr. Frost was born Feb. 21, 1931, in West Union, N.Y., to Clifford and Selynda Wallace Frost.

He graduated from high school early and joined the U.S. Army, receiving medic training at Ft. Sam Houston. He later was a medic and pharmacy tech.

Mr. Frost married Frances Hilfiger on Feb. 20, 1954, in Ulysses.

He was a carpenter. Mr. Frost was a member of the Methodist Church, American Legion and VFW and had served as a volunteer with the local ambulance service in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

He is survived by his wife of Lampasas; a son, Michael Frost of Katy; two daughters and their husbands, Renee and Michael Nevins of Katy, and Robyn and Duane Boyle of Exton, Pa.; two brothers and their wives, James and Betty Frost of Lexington, S.C., and Robert and Roberta Frost of Andover, N.Y.; two sisters, Elizabeth Graves of Whitesville, N.Y., and Hulda McCutcheon and husband, Ronald, of North Bingham, Pa.; and grandchildren, Cheyenne Nevins, Bradley Boyle, Dayna Boyle, Brett Boyle, Cari Stalling, Jackie Knowles and Janea Watson.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Joann Grover.
