PHOTO BY JIM LOWE An enterprising person took advantage of a rare occasion in the area -- daylong snowfall -- and fashioned a snowman, who then was placed in the bed of a pickup truck. The vehicle was backed into a parking slot at Lampasas High School, so that passersby got a direct look at the frozen visitor. Frosty the Snowman wasn’t going to get out of this cameo appearance easily, either, as he was secured by various ropes.
