Snow day
PHOTOS BY PHYLLIS POEHLMANN Snowy conditions forced Lometa School to dismiss at 1 p.m. Tuesday, and that's when some youngsters got down to work. Kolby Hesbrook, Noe Salinas, Jordan Gilberts, Jose Acevedo, Tonio Rangel and Darian Maldonado kept busy building a snowman.
Vehicles were covered in snow after Tuesday's weather took a turn for the worse.
Ducks at Lometa Regional Park not only had snow to contend with, they had to figure out how to walk on the ice-covered creek.
