Alex and Ethan Hupp scored big at the Freedom Classic Horse Show in Waco on Feb. 5-7. Alex, 14, and his horse, Brassair, won the prestigious Hunter Seat Equitation class and was awarded a medal and blue ribbon by the 2000 U.S. Gold Medal Olympic equestrian and current president of the U.S. Equestrian Federation, David O’Connor. Ethan, 11, was awarded a $2,000 scholarship for points he earned in both English and western events on his mare, PS Elusive Dreams. Both boys and horses are trained by Cristy Dobbs and the boys’ mother, Suzanna Hupp, at Angel Ridge Arabians of Lampasas.
