A Lampasas man was given 16 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division in recent 27th District Court action.
Henry Torrez Sanchez, 58, of Lampasas received the punishment for driving while intoxicated, third or more. He was credited with time served.
Curtis Freman Tomlinson, 35, was sentenced to four years in TDCJID for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.
For evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, Lampasas resident Sammy Keith Caldwell, 31, received four years in the TDCJID. He was credited with time served.
Byron Dean Ball, 38, of Lampasas was given four years’ probation and a $500 fine for possession of a controlled substance under one gram. He also must attend a substance abuse facility program.
A warrant was issued, and bond was increased to $5,000 for Steven Ray Gant, 46, of Lampasas when he failed to show up for court on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more.
A bond hearing is set today for Alejandro Suchil for burglary of a habitation.
A pretrial hearing is today for 32-year-old Rudy Sandoval. He is charged with criminal non-support.
Robert Eric Younggreen, 26, of San Saba is set for a revocation hearing today for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
March 12 pretrial hearings are on the docket for Priscilla Rocha Houston, 35, for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000; and Joseph Franklin Middleton, 22, for possession of a controlled substance less than one gram.
For possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, Larry D. Johnson, 41, faces a March 19 adjudication hearing.
Pretrial hearings are March 19 for Juan Jose Cortez, 41, of Nolanville for two counts of driving while intoxicated and felony repetition, and bond jumping; Janice Kay Crusan, 48, of Lampasas for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age; and Richard Castaneda, 23, for two counts of burglary of a habitation.
A plea hearing is scheduled March 26 for 22-year-old Lampasas resident Roxanne Marie Henderson. She is charged with harassment of a public servant.
Henry Oneal Andrews, 30, of Kempner is set for a punishment hearing March 26 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
A March 29 jury trial is slated for Danny Lee Hurt, 39. The Lampasas man is charged with indecency with a child, sexual contact.
Jill Bowen Burrows, 38, of Richland Springs is expected to enter a plea April 9 in a case of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age.
April 26 jury trials are set for Benny Ray Weaver, 60, for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000; and James Worth Nesom, 53, of Buchanan Dam for theft over $20,000 and under $100,000.
Christopher Sean Cowan, 37, of Copperas Cove is set for a May 24 jury trial for driving while intoxicated, third or more.
A motion for early release was granted for Cheri Downing Spencer, 42, of Waco for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
