Camron and Cristopher Brister of Lometa announce the birth of their son, Carson Douglas, born Dec. 7, 2009, at 12:10 p.m. at Georgetown.

At birth, Carson weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches in length.

He joins a brother, Copeland, 3.

Grandparents are Alice Canales of Lampasas, and Carroll Martin, and Doug and Kay Brister, all of Lometa.

Great-grandparents are Helen McDaniel and the late Dwight McDaniel of Lampasas, and Lilly Martin and the late Floyd Martin, and the late Samuel and Juanita Brister and the late Naomi Maddux, all of Lometa.
