Mr. Perry
Willie Alven Perry, 68, of Lampasas died Feb. 11, 2010, at Rollins Brook Community Hospital.
Funeral services were Feb. 14 at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lance Sneath officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with Masonic rites.
Mr. Perry was born Aug. 6, 1941, in Hamilton, the son of Charles Alven and Willie Jewel Grisham Perry.
He graduated from Hamilton High School.
Mr. Perry married Janice Gail Berry on Dec. 17, 1977, in Blueridge Community in Hamilton County.
He was a dairyman, a rancher and farmer. He was chosen as Star Young Farmer of Texas. He served as a deacon of Central Christian Church in Lampasas.
Mr. Perry was involved in FFA and was a member of Saratoga Masonic Lodge #546. He was a past member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
Survivors include his wife of Lampasas; two daughters, Jana Lee Perry and Joni Gail Perry, both of Lampasas; one sister, Jane Brown and husband, Baylous, of Hamilton; his mother-in-law, Jo Berry, of Lampasas; and an aunt.

Lampasas.
