Kempner resident Armandina R. Garcia, 74, died Feb. 3, 2010, at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple.

Funeral services are Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Kemp officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

Visitation is Feb. 12 from 6-8 p.ml at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Garcia was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of Lino and Anastacia Rodela Martinez.

She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Lampasas County since 2003.

Survivors include five sons, Johnny A. Garcia of Lovington, N.M., Eddie A. Garcia of Odessa, Albert R. Garcia of Las Vegas, Nev., Peter L. Garcia of Hobbs, N.M., and Adam J. Garcia of Lampasas; five daughters, Armandina Gonzales of Abilene, Rebecca Garcia of Illinois, Raquel Cervantes of Kempner, Elizabeth Garcia of Salado and Jessica A. Allen of Florida; 30 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five children, San Felipe de Jesus, Jessie, stillborn twins and a stillborn daughter.
