Mrs. Baxter
Sue Baxter, 75, of Lampasas died Feb. 4, 2010, at Regal Nursing & Rehab in Lampasas.
Funeral services were Feb. 7 at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Minister Reid Schaub officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Baxter was born May 19, 1934, in Lake Victor, the daughter of Thomas Frank and Julia Etna Smith Berry.
She was married to John Albert Baxter, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Baxter was a bookkeeper for Wieser Feed Mill for 22 years. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Lampasas. She also was a certified nurse’s assistant and enjoyed helping people.
Survivors include a son, John Albert Baxter Jr. and wife, Gloria, of Humble; a daughter, Janet Stewart and husband, Ronni, of Oliver Spring, Tenn.; three sisters, Frankie Zumwalt of Lampasas, Mildred Dodds of Brownwood and Annette Yates of Adamsville; two brothers, Alton Berry and Max Berry, both of Lampasas; and three grandsons, John Gregory Baxter, Dustin Cole Stewart and Thomas Derin Stewart.
Memorials may be made to the Lampasas Public Library.
