The official stock show season started out successfully for Lampasas County at the opening weekend of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Jacqueline and Paige Hensley entered one of the most competitive breeding boer goat shows in the state. The sisters entered five boer goat nannies. Paige finished with a first- and eighth-place showing and competed in the grand champion drive. Jacqueline placed third, fourth and 10th.
