LHS students excel at practice meet

“The academic and speech team attend many practice meets during the school year to help them prepare for the UIL District Academic Meet set in Marble Falls in March,” said Janet Melton, UIL coordinator.

“We are proud of their efforts, and we are excited at the prospects we see.” The speech team received first-place team at the tournament.

Students will attend two more practice meets before the season comes to a close.
