My wife Sally and I recently completed a rather exhaustive project in Lampasas County. To do that efficiently, we had to engage with your County Treasurer Nelda DeRiso.

In an age when we often experience non-responsive, lackluster government employees, such was not the cased with Ms. DeRiso.

We’ve had similar needs in other counties and municipalities in Central Texas, but we have never experienced a public servant of such quality. We couldn’t have dreamed of having a more helpful or friendly “county insider” who enjoyed such a positive relationship with the county’s other employees. It helped make our job a piece of cake.

This was all carried out while she and her assistant Melissa continued to operate the Lampasas County treasurer’s office without an apparent hitch.

She was a breath of fresh air. You’re lucky to have her, and so were we!
